BEAUTIFICATION
To focus on neighborhood efforts of beautification and encouragement to residents.

ENHANCEMENT OF FAMILY AND CIVIC RESPONSIBILITIES

CRIME AND NEIGHBORHOOD SECURITY
Reducing crime throughout the South Immokalee neighborhood.

Governor Jeb Bush established the Front Porch Florida Initiative in 1999 as a grassroots; bottom-up approach to community revitalization. This initiative focuses on the family and empowers residents to define and resolve neighborhood problems. Residents, service providers, governments, and other interested partners work together to rebuild distressed neighborhoods. The community must participate in the process. Communities identify and address issues in a positive and productive manner.
